Brief Overview

As the Content Manager, Product Marketing, you will lead the development of highly engaging content designed to bring the Amwell brand and platform to life through creative storytelling, deep platform knowledge, and exceptional messaging. This exciting content role will allow you to flex multiple creative muscles across a breadth of content, including video scriptwriting and producing, digestible long-form content creation, succinct web copy writing, and powerful brand storytelling. As a key partner to the product marketing team, you’ll become an expert in the Amwell platform, and will use that knowledge to conceptualize and create key assets used by Sales, Account Management, Integrated Marketing and Solution Design teams to drive platform understanding, interest, and adoption. You will also serve as the product content expert, using your knowledge to inform other content pieces created by the team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the product marketing and content teams by becoming a scholar of the platform and articulating complex platform components and differentiators in digestible ways that are easily understood by the industries and personas we serve.
  • Lead video storytelling, from concept to creation, and act as the lead content producer on all video projects.
  • Oversee the infusion of brand messaging across all product marketing and video assets, ensuring the storytelling is well-aligned with the overarching Amwell tone and voice.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Account Management, and other teams to project manage content creation.
  • Optimize website content to ensure messaging is well aligned with key platform differentiators.
  • Collaborate closely with the visual design and outside video production teams to align content and creative ideas to produce a cohesive, engaging asset.
  • Act as lead product content editor for the content team, reviewing long-form, short-form, and presentation content for product accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with the content team to align efforts and effectively and efficiently achieve team, departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B or product marketing content creation
  • Healthcare technology writing experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Content Marketing, or related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging narratives (both short and long-form) for multiple audiences and across a variety of mediums (e.g., eBooks, online, ad campaigns, multimedia)
  • Expertise in scriptwriting and producing videos from concept to completion
  • Experience conceptualizing and creating long-form eBooks
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts simply and concisely
  • A creative, visual eye that helps bring abstract ideas to life through infographics, video and other assets.
  • Proven track record to work cross-functionally across various levels and multiple teams including marketing, editorial, design, production, etc.
  • Experience collaborating with outside creative agencies, partners, and third-party vendors
  • Superb attention to detail with the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask on multiple projects
  • A problem-solver who is resourceful in finding solutions to complex issues
  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter and adapt in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment, as well as prioritize and advance multiple projects simultaneously.

The typical base salary range for this position is $76,160 – $104,720.  The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors.  In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
